Student Street Photography Awards 2011, the first Student Street Photography Awards is now open for entries. Open to all students aged 18 or over, living in the UK and studying on any full or part time course at a UK institution, the overall winner will get the chance to spend a day with street photographer Nils Jorgensen.
The winner will also work with Nils to produce an all-expenses-paid group show at the Orange Dot Gallery in Bloomsbury as well as taking home an Olympus PEN camera.

Students have until the 28 February 2011 to submit their entries, which costs £12.50 for between 5 and 8 photos. You will also be asked to include a brief biography of yourself and a description outlining the process and background of your photos. Each entrant will also receive a free Blurb gift voucher to print their own book.

Entrants must be currently living and studying in the UK, but the photographs can be taken anywhere.

You will be covering GCSE and A Level ICT classes at this crucial time of year and therefore need to demonstrate that you have experience with the national curriculum in ICT to A level and have supported students at this challenging time.
